Do You Have a Solution That Can Change a Billion Lives?
The prevailing belief at CoE – DSAI is that Artificial Intelligence should also enhance people’s lives, going well beyond business requirements alone. If development has to be sustained then people will have to be empowered, and in our case, through technology. To be sure, AI is already being used to address common enough yet complex problems, particularly in mitigating natural disasters, providing citizen-centric services, helping achieve health coverage, improving public safety, managing waste, tackling pollution, enhancing efficiency in governance, among others.
Right now, the pace in which AI is being understood and adopted is at a critical juncture. It has to be harnessed now which will lead to large scale impact with long-term benefits.
Taking cue, “AI for Good”, a CoE DSAI initiative, is about leveraging AI for efficient & effective use of resources for sustainable development, especially for India where we have limited resources. It’s an opportunity to identify the use cases and problem statements in parallel, and align with relevant ministries & departments. Going forward, we will help them build the necessary framework for tech adoption, provide assistance in partnering with AI-driven solution providers in social which when all tied together will impact the society in a positive manner.
This competition is open to all companies that have either implemented solutions or have products in the AI space that can be leveraged for greater common good. If you have technology solutions which benefits the society at large (healthcare, security, smart cities, agriculture, education, waste management, public utilities, traffic etc) then do participate by submitting your nominations to firstname.lastname@example.org
