GIC Bengaluru: Highlights of the full day session held on 14th March, 2017

Mr. Navneet Kapoor President & MD Target India, Chair @NASSCOM GIC Council, set the context with a welcome Note for the one day GIC conference that was held in Bangalore, 14th March 2017 on “Future Proofing your GICs through DevOps and RPA”. Navneet, a very engaging speaker, shared some very inspiring perspectives about the NASSCOM GIC community and national initiatives that are designed by @NASSCOM exclusively for the GICs. He also said that he looked forward to the @NASSCOM GIC Conclave being held in Hyderabad on the 20th and 21st April, 2017. 

 

Ms. Ushasri TS , Senior Vice President & General Manager Manhattan Associates , Chair, NASSCOM GIC Council Bangalore, presented the key note address on “DevOps an Imperative and why it’s a “Must Adopt” for Enterprises” on the 14th March 2017 at the one day GIC conference - Future Proofing your GICs through DevOps and RPA.

 

On 14th March 2017, the one day GIC conference was a huge success with engaging speakers, panellists and a packed room of Industry leaders. The panel discussion on Dev Ops, where leaders shared the Footprint of Dev Ops within their organization, the journey, challenges, talent implications, tough decisions & tech decisions, business impact and more. The panel discussion was moderated by Ms. Ushasri TS, Senior Vice President & General Manager Manhattan Associates, with panellists Mr. Navneet Kapoor, President & MD Target India, Mr. Subramanian Ganeshan, India - APAC R& D Head- Amadeus Software Labs India Pvt Ltd, Mr. Rakesh Singh, VP & GM, Citrix India R&D India Pvt Ltd and Akash Dhama Technology Director at JPMorgan Chase & Co.

 

Mr. Ankur Kothari, Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer, Automation Anywhere, presented the Key Note for RPA “Digital Workforce: Game Changer for GIC” on the 14th March 2017 at the NASSCOM one day GIC conference, Bengaluru - Future Proofing your GICs through DevOps and RPA.


 

Terrific Panel Discussion on RPA moderated by Ms. Kalpana Balasubramanian, Head Robotics and Cognitive and Head Innovation, KPMG with panellists Mr. Sunil Shah, Deputy CEO at Societe Generale Global Solution Centre, Ms. Sujatha.D, Head, Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Limited- India ITeS, Mr. Giridhar Rajagopal, Country Manager at First American India Pvt Ltd talk their RPA journey, from Organization alignment to change management. Most GICs are already conducting pilots to implement RPA. But how important is the Senior Leaders involvement in the scale-up of RPA from pilot-level to enterprise-level? What are the strategies they adopt? It was all discussed, on the 14th March 2017 at the NASSCOM one day GIC conference, Bengaluru - Future Proofing your GICs through DevOps and RPA.

 

Ms. Amrita Singh, Global Program Manager for Smart Automation shared the RPA journey, approach, implementation, way forward and RPA COE Set up and its Significance for Societe Generale on on the 14th March 2017 at the NASSCOM one day GIC conference, Bengaluru - Future Proofing your GICs through DevOps and RPA. Her patiently explained perspectives and approaches were very well received by the audience.

 

Mr. Viji Varghese, Head - Centre of Excellence – Robotics, ANZ shared the ANZ case study on the Robotics Centre of Excellence on the 14th March 2017 at the NASSCOM one day GIC conference, Bengaluru - Future Proofing your GICs through DevOps and RPA. Viji is a thought leader in RPA and his insights and perspectives were very well received by the audience, who were keen to understand the implementation of RPA within their organizations. His energy levels were highly infectious and quickly caught on with the audience, leading to a galore of questions on RPA, that were well addressed by Viji.

 

The RPA Masterclass by TAO Automation Mr.Ravi Hossur, Chief Development Officer, TAO Automation in support with Mr. Viji Varghese, Head - Centre Of Excellence – Robotics, ANZ* and  Ms. Amrita Singh, Société Générale was well received. The Masterclass intended to share a step by step process of RPA Deployment to Scale, Tangible results of Automation, Roadblocks / Common problems, Sharing of Best Case studies and much more.

Outcomes
