In recent times, breast cancer has become the most common type of cancer affecting women worldwide accounting for 25% of all cancer cases and affected 3.5 million people in 2017-18. Early diagnosis in these cases significantly increases the chances of survival. The key challenge in cancer detection is how to classify tumours into malignant or benign. Artificial Intelligence can dramatically improve the accuracy of diagnosis. Research indicates that most experienced physicians can diagnose cancer with 79% accuracy while using artificial intelligence based diagnosis, it is possible to achieve 91% accuracy.

NASSCOM CoE – IoT & AI, Gurugram & Equonix Tech Lab have organised a LIVE CODING SESSION on BREAST CANCER DETECTION

AGENDA

09:30am – 10:00am | REGISTRATION

10:00am – 12:00pm | SESSION 1
To understand this problem set and understanding the Machine learning approaches, researchers worldwide are developing autonomous, user friendly solution for cancer detection. This may improve the overall healthcare system and associated policies drastically in the next few years. This session is focussed on the following topics:
  • Introduction and importance of Machine Learning in Medical Applications
  • Current Market Trends
  • Introduction to Cancer Dataset and Significance
  • Visualization of Dataset
  • Understand the dataset
  • Feature Selection and Random Forest Classification
  • Feature Extraction
  • Estimation and Classification
  • How to improve the results, understand the parameters.
  • Deployment strategy & Cost Estimation

12:00pm – 12:15pm | TEA & SNACKS

12:15pm – 01:15pm | SESSION 2
Developing more specialized chips and reducing the computation required during deep learning is very important to execute an optimised, resource efficient deep learning model on the edge device itself. This is known as “AI on the edge” and could benefit from specialized, fixed chip architectures that are more efficient. Datacentres that power “AI on the cloud” on the other hand, would run on fully scalable and programmable chip architectures, to handle a much broader spectrum of learning tasks. This session will give an overview of the following:

·         IP market for Artificial Intelligence

·         Growth report on semiconductor market in VLSI and Machine Learning based systems

·         Market Analysis on neural networks in the semiconductor market

SESSION FEES : ?300

PAYMENT CAN ALSO BE MADE ON THE SPOT
