During the last two decades, India has emerged as an R&D destination for global corporations with 45 percent of the top 500 global R&D spenders establishing their presence in the country. These companies have approximately 10% of their global R&D headcount in India. At present, 46 of the top 50 R&D spenders have their centers in India. The government’s flagship ‘Make in India’ campaign calls for more and better value driven R&D to position India as the high-value manufacturing hub of the world. Accenture will present the findings of its study on “ER&D GIC's and Innovation the way ahead” and Intel will speak about its Innovation journey and the way they see it evolving in the near future.
