On the occasion of Safer Internet Day 2021, DSCI & Twitter India have joined hands to spread awareness on Online & Digital Safety, not just for the day but for coming weeks and round-the-month.

Stay Cyber Safe is an awareness campaign crafted around Online Safety, Social Media Hygiene, Safer Internet Practices and more, for a holistic Digital Well-being.

The speed at which Social Media, Digital Payment, eServices are connecting people and revolutionising lives, malicious actors are using the same to jeopardise the safety of unsuspecting people. Social engineering and mistakes committed by unaware customers have led to a huge spike in frauds and misuse of information. Anti-social elements also make use of Social media to dupe customers and at times collect personal information and misuse them.

Therefore, Online Safety is paramount, and users need to impart caution and use Digital Services with a safety-first approach. This campaign is an attempt to spread awareness and help citizens adopt a Digital Lifestyle with confidence. Follow the campaign and spread the word for a Safer Internet and Digital Well-being.

Campaign Focus Areas

The campaign will focus on best practices and simple do’s & don’ts around the below mentioned areas to educate citizens and spread awareness.
