Read DSCI’s new threat advisory for the month of June 2020 as part of DSCI’s Threat Intelligence & Research initiative. This edition includes:

Kaiji Malware – a new Linux malware & variant continues to hit businesses

PyXie RAT – a python-based trojan malware which gives attackers almost full control of Windows systems

Aria-body RAT – a malicious piece of a program

Eking Ransomware – a ransomware family called Phobos, encrypts victim’s files and modifies them

Optimal Promo – a potentially unwanted application (PUA), a web browser hijacker and targets Mac based systems

This advisory is an effort to provide information on how to prevent malware attacks and includes advice for organizations about best practices to take proper security measures and protect confidential data from unknown agents.
