Post-pandemic cloud migration and digital transformation have come into mainstream. This has lead to increase in the need for AIOps. Businesses have started adopting AIOps as per their requirements and benefits.

The steps businesses can approach to integrate AIOps into their business strategy and start with IT automation are discussed below:

Steps to Integrate AIOps

  • Align Requirements: AIOps being a multi-domain technology, it is crucial to align business strategy with requirements and challenges.
  • Detect & Integrate: the concept of AIOps is to collect data from everywhere, such as networks, servers, and applications. The more data AI analyses, the better it performs. And the more domains covered, the more likely it is to discover the source of any problem.
  • Use of AI: AI is the next appropriate step post businesses have approached the integration of IT operations data. Various domain solutions come with AI capabilities now but with their specific challenges. With AI-driven root cause analysis, it is easier to resolve even missed opportunities.
  • Centralize Data Lake: should be created to integrate AIOps better. Machine Learning (ML) can process all the data from various domains with all the available data, easing to construct data-driven actions.
  • AI Automation: Adopting AIOps aims to discover the issues and resolve them faster. After discovering the common recurring problems, ML helps to find the root cause and connect it with a workflow to fix the issues automatically.

It is time for enterprises to focus on strategizing AIOps to execute IT applications better and manage infrastructure. Although, the journey of AIOps would be different for each business, and the order of steps may change. But once one assesses where they are in their journey to AIOps, they can start to incorporate tools which help teams to observe, predict, and act quickly to IT operational issues.
