There’s an increased demand for UX skills across the globe. In most of these countries, demand outweighs the supply for skilled UI/UX professionals. LinkedIn has listed UX design as one of the Top 20 Skills to learn in 2020. InVisions Product Design Hiring Report mentions that most organisations expect their design teams to grow by at least 21% in 2020. There are anywhere between 8,000–24,000 UI/UX job openings worldwide today. Even in the middle of a global pandemic, there were 2,347 UX designer jobs posted on LinkedIn alone.

What is UX ?

User experience (UX) design is the process design teams use to create products that provide  meaningful and relevant experiences to users.

This involves the design of the entire process of acquiring and integrating the product,   including aspects of branding, design, usability and function.

 How Do you approach Problems?

Products that provide great user experience (e.g. iPhone) are  designed with not only the   product’s consumption or use in mind but also the entire process of acquiring, owning and   even troubleshooting it.

Along with usability, UX designers also focus on other aspects of the user experience, such    as pleasure, efficiency and fun.

Design Thinking Approach is for everybody

Design thinking is essentially a problem-solving approach specific to design, which involves

assessing known aspects of a problem and identifying the more ambiguous or peripheral factors

that contribute to the conditions of a problem.

Design thinking is an iterative process in which knowledge is constantly being questioned and acquired so it can help us redefine a problem in an attempt to identify alternative strategies and solutions that might not be instantly apparent with our initial level of understanding.
