Development Institutions and think tanks such as the World Bank, ADB, UNDP, etc persistently emphasize creating strong livelihood opportunities covering several integrated community-based interventions across India that endeavor to improve rural incomes through modern practices, global peer studies, and benchmarking various key economic parameters and indicators. To develop an equal and empowered society, it is essential to consider the key sectors (highlighted below) to create robust and sustainable livelihood opportunities as part of government/ quasi-government policies. Foundations, Not-For-Profit, governments, and other institutes collectively create a larger ecosystem for impacting lives and bringing progressive societal characteristics. Such global partnerships strengthen deep learning among communities, behavior, and intended outcomes.

Focused key sectors

  • Education: Educational initiatives for pre-schoolers, out-of-school children, educative capacity training, and adult literacy are integrated into the projects to ensure the beneficiaries attain a minimum level of educational proficiency.
  • Health: Promotion of good health is integrated into the projects through training, awareness activities, health camps, health service centers, and check-ups and linking beneficiaries to government schemes.
  • Women Empowerment: Projects under this segment engage in women empowerment through education and training, capacity building, awareness activities, and facilitation of self-help groups and access to government schemes.
  • Skill Development: Training programs on skill development are implemented, to help improve the employability of the working population including school dropouts, semi-skilled and unskilled workers. These programs include vocational training and digital literacy

Alongside the monitoring methodology and assessment, the framework uncovers the ground realities and challenges during program implementations. Accurate data reporting, transparency, audit logs foster out-of-box thinking to solve complex problems. AI, ML and Blockchain further catalyze the perennial changes as intended. In the hindsight, data will suggest whether the benefits will outweigh the cost of adoption of these tools and frameworks. The rapid adoption of EVs showcases priorities, that citizens do care for their climate and sustainability. The citizens are becoming more aware, and thus development and progress are bounded to be destined toward sustainable life.
