These new centers hail from diverse geographies including North America, Europe, and APAC, and span multiple verticals such as software and internet, BFSI, travel/hospitality, and professional services.

Cities like Hyderabad, Pune, and Bengaluru continue to attract these new GCCs due to their rich talent pools and vibrant tech ecosystems. Verticals such as Software and Internet, BFSI, healthcare, travel/hospitality, and professional services are prominent among the new entrants, reflecting a broad spectrum of digital transformation needs.

  1. AI adoption is at the core of many new GCCs’ strategies, transforming how work is executed and enabling autonomous, intelligent operations. For example:

AT&S and Feuji are leveraging AI to build intelligent automation platforms that combine AI with Robotic Process Automation (RPA), enabling adaptive workflows that optimize and evolve continuously. This integration is shifting GCCs from traditional manual processes to system-led autonomous outcomes, significantly reducing cost-to-serve and accelerating time-to-market.

Rapid7 is embedding AI agents alongside human teams to handle transaction-heavy workloads, freeing employees to focus on strategic and innovation-driven tasks.

  1. Product engineering is a critical area of focus for several new GCCs, enabling them to drive innovation in both hardware and software domains. These centers are actively engaged in designing, developing, and optimizing products that span from advanced electronics to scalable software platforms. For example:

AT&S is at the forefront of hardware product engineering, specializing in the design and development of highly miniaturized, high-performance printed circuit boards (PCBs) and interconnect solutions. Their teams work on end-to-end product lifecycle activities including circuit design, simulation, testing, and reliability analysis.

Indian GCCs are expanding their cybersecurity portfolios by integrating AI, machine learning (ML), blockchain, and quantum computing to enhance threat detection and response:

NAVEX and Rapid7 are notable examples actively deploying AI-enabled cybersecurity solutions that automate vulnerability detection, adversarial simulations, and real-time threat intelligence.

GCCs are also focusing on security analytics, using data to identify trends, detect anomalies, and predict future cyber threats, thereby helping parent organizations stay ahead of malicious activities.
