Uber suspends self-driving cars - humans at fault

Auto companies working on self-driving technology face the difficulty of building smarter vehicles that must not only adhere to the rules of the road but must also account for the error-prone nature of human drivers, a far more difficult variable.

 

This is not the first time that an autonomous car has crashed due to the fault of a human driver. This report has more on the recent accident but the issue remains  the same – how to negotiate human drivers until all or most cars self-driven?
