On September 28, 2021, Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) notified the extension of Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) by 6 months, i.e., up to March 31, 2022.

The present FTP which came into force on April 1, 2015, was for 5 years and was extended thereafter up to March 31, 2021, in light of the Covid-19 pandemic. Thereafter, in March 2021, DGFT had notified the extension of FTP by 6 months, i.e., from April 1, 2021 till September 30, 2021. Read our earlier update on this topic here
