Symantec and DSCI have supported SSC NASSCOM in developing National Occupational Standards for ten cyber security job roles with the corresponding Qualification Packs (QP), in line with the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF). The program has drawn participation and guidance from organizations across sectors, including IT/ITeS, financial services & consultancy advisory services. The program also enables capacity building via faculty training and train-the-trainer events, with pilots underway in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Symantec has also established a scholarship program that has set a goal of supporting 1000 women to become cybersecurity professionals.
