Integration Wizards has created IRIS – AI, a computer vision platform that plugs into an existing CCTV network to identify people not wearing face masks, monitor adequate social distance being followed, and enable thermal screening. IRIS AI uses live camera feed to detect non-compliance and raises real-time alerts as sms, WhatsApp messages, email or announcement on PA system as required. It also enables thermal screening at entry and exit point of a premises. When the threshold is breached, an alarm with the image of the individual is raised. The alarm is configured to be sent to the right authority who can then take the necessary steps like personally contacting the non-compliant employee to wear a mask or announce on the PA system to maintain a distance of 1 metre while at the manufacturing premises.

Detect to Protect

Kunal Kislay, CEO of Integration Wizards talks about the idea. ‘Covid-19 carries a lot of stigma and prejudice because of its highly contagious nature. IRIS computer vision brings in equality by taking out bias from the scenario. The platform helps create a more humane workplace by identifying the non-compliance using live camera feeds, sending real-time alerts to the right authority so that immediate action can be taken. This takes away the need for manual monitoring that can turn one employee against the other. Detect to protect is what we had in mind when we started training our deep learning model to learn, detect, categorise, and analyse video feeds for face masks and minimum distance index. Post lockdown, IRIS is ready to help enterprises adapt to the new normal.’

Integration Wizards created AI platform IRIS in 2018, it was trained to detect PPEs in manufacturing premises – helmets, vests etc. It has an impeccable track record at several large-scale manufacturing premises, solar power plants, shop floors etc.

Enabling Transparency

People will be going back to a dystopian workplace devoid of smiles, handshakes or congratulatory pats on back coupled with a lingering fear that their co-worker might be a Covid-19 carrier. Using a camera vision platform brings in transparency that builds trust between co-workers. It eradicates the need to raise manual complaint. IRIS reports numbers real-time. Companies can choose to make a public display of the analytics on their website. An employee feels safer at work when he knows 95% people wore masks and maintained social distancing during their shift. The dashboard gives in details of cameras, current percentage of people wearing masks etc. The actionable insights can be accessed on dashboard on the web or through a mobile app. IRIS provides electronic records for audit and compliance accountability.

Immediate Deployment

Deployment can start immediately at any office that has an existing CCTV network. No infrastructure overhead is required. IRIS AI is currently being deployed at multiple sites of one of the world’s largest steel companies, one of the largest two wheeler manufacturer in India and manufacturing premise of one of the world’s largest snacking companies.

The solution is made in India, made for India. Integration Wizards offers perpetual licensing as well as per camera license approach. This cost is supplemented with time and material-based pricing for customisation and development for customers.
