We kindly request your help and support in a survey. This survey will take 10-15 minutes to complete. Following is the survey link: Determinants of Caesarean Births – Survey Your valuable input will help us designing the proposed women centric healthcare - digital product’s features and services.

Understanding the fact that quality women-centered care needed to address high use of caesarian section, we are designing and developing a digital product to enhance the positive birth experience for mother and their newborns by preventing risk and illness – focused on reducing unnecessary caesarean section globally thereby promoting natural birth and quality care for women and newborns in critical weeks. And, our mission is to develop curative data driven interoperable digital product to deliver actionable insights before, during and after the birth by creating an ecosystem of healthcare experts and associated services (medical and non-medical including ancient wisdom support) accessible on demand anytime globally.

The survey data will solely be used for women centric healthcare digital product - scoping review purposes and will remain completely confidential. The survey is entirely confidential and anonymous. It does NOT collect any identifying information such as your name, email id or IP address. No names or identifying information will be included and used in any of our internal or external presentations.

According to new research from WHO, caesarean section use continue to rise globally, now accounting for more than 1 in 5 of al childbirths. This number is set to continue increasing over the coming decade. While a caesarean section can be essential and lifesaving surgery, it can put women and babies at unnecessary risk of short and long term health problems if performed when there is NO medical need. Given the increasing use of caesarean section, particularly without medical indication, an increased understating of its health effects on women and newborn has become crucial. The prevalence of maternal mortality and maternal morbidity is higher after caesarean section. There is emerging research based evidence that babies born by caesarean section have different hormonal, physical, bacterial and medical exposures and that these exposures can subtly alter neonatal physiology.
