Now a days environmental problem is the biggest problem all over the world.Artificial Intelligence finds application in a wide array of environmental sectors, including natural resource conservation, wildlife protection, energy management, clean energy, waste management, pollution control and agriculture.

Artificial Intelligence  is considered to be the biggest game-changer in the global economy. Many organizations like Microsoft, Google and Tesla, whilst creating the boundaries for human innovations, have made considerable efforts in developing ‘Earth Friendly’ AI systems.

AI Applications in Environmental part:

AI has the potential to save global efforts to protect the environment and conserve resources by detecting energy emission reductions, CO2 removal, helping develop greener transportation networks, monitoring deforestation, and predicting extreme weather conditions.

Weather Change:

AI is already being used in smart transport eg: google maps and Waze, where Machine learning algorithms are used to optimize navigation.Use of machine learning to optimize energy generation and demand in real-time; better grid systems with increased predictability and increased efficiency, and use of renewable energy.

Ocean Health:

Illegal fishing can  be tracked using AI.AI can gather data from ocean locations that are hard or impossible to reach and thus, help protect species and habitats.AI-powered robots can be used to monitor ocean conditions such as pollution levels, temperature and pH.

Water problem:

AI with the satellite data can help to forecast weather, soil and subsurface water conditions and predict droughts.AI is widely used by water scientists to project water usage in a particular geographical area and make weather forecasts to make informed policy decisions.

Healthy Air:

Using data from vehicles, radar sensors and cameras AI can help improve air pollution.AI-powered simulations can send warnings to people living in urban areas about the pollution levels of their areas. There are tools that can detect the pollution sources quickly and accurately.Air purifiers with AI can record air quality and environmental data in real-time and adapt the filtration efficiency.

migration system:

AI infused Earth applications are iNaturalist and eBirds that collect data from its vast circle of experts on the species encountered, which would help to keep track of their population, favorable eco systems and migration patterns.

These applications have also played a significant role in the better identification and protection of fresh water and marine ecosystems.

Weather forecast and Disaster resiliency:

Various meteorological companies, tech companies like IBM, Palantir companies are combining AI with traditional physics-based modelling methods to model the impact of extreme weather events on infrastructure and on their other systems to advise the disaster risk management strategies.

AI-powered predictive analytics along with drones, advanced sensor platforms and similar tools can monitor tremors, floods, windstorms, sea-level changes, and other possible natural hazards.

Conclusion:

From the above we know that AI technologies and algorithms are being developed to monitor pollution levels, reduce energy consumption, and better understand the effects of climate change. AI has the potential to accelerate global efforts to protect the environment.
