Benz leads BRCGS in South Asia Pacific region with focus on India, Vietnam, Thailand, Australia and New Zealand. In addition to this he also focuses on Global Key Accounts and Digital Products of the organisation. In his role he is responsible for building brand BRCGS and supporting brands and manufacturers in improving their product safety

Benz holds a master’s degree in International Business from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) and a PG Diploma in Advertising and PR from Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC)

Sarit Chowdhury Food Sector, BSI India

Sarit Chowdhury has a total of 24 years of experience in which 9 years of in the food Industry covering aquaculture, fruits and vegetables, seafood and dehydrated foods. He has 15 years of assessment and training experience in various food sectors like meat, dairy, seafood, processed fruits/vegetables, etc.

He holds an M.Sc. in Life Sciences with a specialization in microbiology and molecular biology. He’s an approved lead auditor for HACCP, BRCGS, FSSC 22000 and ISO 22000:2018 Food safety management system. He is also an empanelled laboratory assessor with NABL for ISO 17025.
