Selling To The New Buyer

We are in a Buyer First World. The information asymmetry that helped selling in the industrial era has been turned 180 degrees by the Internet and now the Buyer is more informed than he ever was. This has resulted in the shift of initiative in the value-transaction process (that we one-sidedly brand selling) from the supply side to the demand side. This is riding on 3 core changes – 1. Interruption based transactions are not working any more 2. We are in a permission economy 3. Surreptitious tracking and data gathering without customers explicit permission, that is the hallmark of the technology and data driven sales process is coming to an end. GDPR and CCPA are the first salvos. Customer pushback is a bigger phenomena which is seeing a ground swell. The new Buyer driven era is also the era of Ethical Analytics
