Introduction of Artificial Intelligence:

“The science and engineering of making intelligent machines, especially intelligent computer programs”- John McCarthy (Father of AI)

Artificial Intelligence observes that how a human thing, makes a decision, uses his intelligence, and works to solve a problem. Basically, AI is a technique of making Computers & machines, Pre-programable Robots, Image detection, etc. Through Artificial Intelligence robotic machines can think and work on solving problems. Machine learning, a subset of AI, gives the power of learning & adopting new things to computers without any human help.

Artificial Intelligence solves Agricultural Problems:

In previous, we discuss what is AI. But how AI helps to solve farming problems? We see here:

Using AI technology we can get a lot of information about Soil conditions, growth the healthier crops, weather forecasting and enhance other agricultural tasks which are very helpful to farmers.

Use of Monitoring System:

In the present day, due to many reasons, soil quality is gradually being poor, where nutrition & types of soil are the very important thing to a farmer.

An AI-based application that can identify the health condition and malnutrition of soil. Even farmers get information about plant diseases & pests so, easily he spread fertilizer & pesticide which improve harvest health & quality. This application provides videos of soil restoration with tips & other solutions.

Similarly, many machine-learning-based companies help farmers by doing soil analysis, monitoring soil & plant conditions, and producing high-level productivity.

Predict the Weather Change:

 Nowadays because of pollution & changing climate farmers are confused to choose the right time for planting. But using AI technology farmers get weather forecasting and decide when to sow, grown, and cut harvest/plant.

Using Drones to examine crop conditions:

Drone-based Ariel imaging solutions, which fly over fields to take photos of crops then transfer the images/data through the USB drive of the computer to experts. Through this technology, we observe the health condition of plants. The company’s Experts use algorithms to capture images and provide results on the current health of harvests. Recognizing the condition of harvest farmers can easily know the necessary things for plants (pesticide or bacteria control, compost, etc.).

Robotics in Agriculture:

Many companies have developed AI-based robots. Those are capable to perform multitask and capable to take challenges like the agricultural force labor. These robots are trained to check the growth of harvest, pest control, nutrition/ health of crops including pick & pack fruits or crops at the same time.

Pest Detection:

Pests or worms are very harmful enemies of farmers. But using image detection technology, drones or robots easily detect pests like a grasshopper, Black field cricket, Aphids, etc., and farmers get notifications on their smartphones and take precautions & use pest control.

  

Conclusion:

So, AI makes easy the farming process. Even many companies are developed electric tractors and also remote-control systems. Framers seek advice and recommendation on specific problems using chatbots. Through Artificial Intelligence the path of agriculture will be wide in the future.
