  • Globally, India ranks 3rd with an installed supply of 608,000 (FY2021) cloud professionals (Technology & other verticals); 33% of these have 10+ years of experience
  • The demand was for 873,000 cloud professionals; the 265,000 differential points to the untapped potential due to accelerating demand for cloud
  • With a 24% YoY growth in installed base, India’s cloud talent is expected to grow 2.4X to nearly 1.5 mn by FY2025
  • The demand however, is estimated to be over 2.2 mn by 2025; India would need to accelerate its cloud talent supply bet. 30% and 35%

  • Accelerated training of adjacent talent in tech - 1.7 to 1.8 mn; and of 263,000 graduated in computer science & related fields
  • Modernizing course curricula to reflect the newest, in-demand skills that are in line with industry standards
  • Expand apprenticeship/internship & on-the-job training for fresh talent to build relevant experience
