Indian business magnate Sanjeev Bhikchandani recently was in the news for being announced as the recipient of the Padma Shri Award. The founder of Naukri.com, he has also funded various internet-based startups including Jeevansathi.com, 99acres.com, Shiksha.com, Zomato, and Policybazaar. Notably, Sanjeev was also honored with SpeakIn’s Icon of Excellence in Speech #Entrepreneur last year for inspiring many budding entrepreneurs across the world. A popular investor himself, on Zomato’s acquisition of Uber Eats,  Sanjeev comments, “It helps in terms of synergies regarding customers and regarding rider network regarding the restaurant supply chain”.

Laxmi Agarwal

Survivor of a brutal acid attack, Laxmi Agarwal is an activist and a campaigner for acid attack survivors. One of the strongest women that the country has seen, Laxmi was recently in news as a film based on her life – Chhapaak – released with Deepika Padukone playing the lead. She received the International Women of Courage award in the USA and was lauded by then-first lady Michelle Obama for her exceptional campaign against acid violence. “There has been a perceptible change in the attitude of people over the years since when I, after facing rejection, decided to fight for the acid attack survivors’ cause,” she had said.

Sanjay Jha

Sanjay Jha is the Executive Director of the Dale Carnegie Training operations in India and the National Spokesperson of the Indian National Congress Party since. The author of four books, Safvi also runs a popular blog showcasing Delhi’s culture and traditions. She remained in the headlines for January for lending her opinion on the attacks in JNU as well as anti-CAA protests. “As far as traditions are concerned, I believe in preserving them as long as they are not patriarchal or impinge on somebody’s freedom, rights or dignity” Safvi quotes on preserving traditional Indian values.

Sanghi was included by Forbes India in their Celebrity 100 and has written two New York Times bestselling crime thrillers.
