  • In a conventional sense, a 3D architectural walkthrough is merely an animation that depicts how the building would look on completion. For all purposes, this is just a nicer way of showcasing final design plans

  • In case of CoGence, 3D walkthrough takes up a new meaning. The model generated by the platform is a depiction of actual work completed on site as on date by periodic site scans conducted by our engineers, which means the model gets updated as work progresses on site. Furthermore, the model is freely navigable and measureable making it a proper engineering tool

  • Project team can access and assess the model at any time without physically being on site

  • One can look at scans previously taken thereby making available the project progress at different stages for scrutiny. Site data is digitally available and is not lost during or after the project completes

  • 3D scan viewer shows the BIM model side by side and in sync and can be used to compare planned work vs actual work done

  • Measurements can be taken on the 3D model up to an accuracy of 2 decimal points

  • Experts across locations can be engaged to take a look at the site virtually if required without the need for physically travelling to site

  • Algorithms run various analytics on the 3D model to provide us with insights

  • The data and insights maintained are knowledge repositories that can help us in future projects as well
