IT-ITes SSSC NASSCOM to lead for IT SSB Skills at the World Skills 2017

India Skills Competition 2016 & World Skills Competition 2017

India Skills is an initiative of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and the Nation’s largest skill competition to find the best of talent at the Skill India Week held at Pragati Maidan. SSC NASSCOM & Project Board Members including Microsoft, IBM, Infosys, Mettl are partners in building the ITSSB skill talent pool to represent on the global platform in 2017

After the preliminary screening & assessment of 379 candidates, 74 were assessed on their IT acumen via online assessment & project based assessment, from which Top 24 candidates were shortlisted. Post regional assessment a Hackathon was conducted on 8th  July 2016 for all four zones across India. We had the Zonal winners from this round.

  

Post the Hackathon the top 5 candidates participated at the India Skills 2016 Competition round held at Pragati Maidan to show their expertise in the IT SSB Skill over 12 hours hackathon.

Mehr Rishika Nori from Hyderabad was the winner along-with with Aditya  Sharma who was runners up from Chandigarh.
